You will hear from me again.

I hate winter. The only thing I want more than to become as good a fiddler/musician as some of my friends and idols is for it to be summer. I miss summer so much. I miss the sun on my face, being outside with no shoes on at every moment, riding bikes till 10 at night, the ocean, I miss it all. I mainly want to be at fiddle camp. I miss it, so much. Summer of 08′ was my best for sure.

Ahh, let’s move over to a different topic, thinking about camp will make me too sad. :[ And just as BTdub, I don’t use smileys often so that will show you my sad. 

Anyway, moving on! Weekend! My weekend was alright. I mainly stayed inside and recovered from midterms. Except for Saturday when I went out for an amazing hike/trek/walk in Vaughn Woods with two of my best friends, Eliza and Savannah. Photos up soon. It was a bit cold but so much fun. We danced around crazily, took lovely photos, climbed a few trees and had an amazing time all together.

On Sunday I went to the Elysium Folk Club and saw Audrey Ryan and Lissa Schneckenburger perform. It was a split bill and they were very different in great ways. I know Lissa very well from fiddle camp so at the end of the show me and Isa-another best friend-got up and played a tune with her. It was so much fun to play with Lissa again and here’s a photo from that.

1. I enjoy simple things. Like lying in the grass with a book, an instrument and some tea.

2. I write a lot. Some of it is decent and some is just very very odd.

3. I love the smell of fresh cut grass in summer and the smell of autumn.

4. I had the weirdest dream last night. It included a lot of people from my school, a greeting card store, mary jane and hats.

5. I have five best friends that I know I will be friends with for the rest of my life.

6. I can’t wait till I can drive.

7. I love traveling and hope to do more of it soon.

8. I want and need to get out of South Berwick, hopefully junior year or sooner.

9. I play some instruments. They all have strings. Fiddle and guitar are my favorites.

10. I wear braids with berets and headbands a lot.

11. I drink lots of tea and water.

12. I went to Turkey from April into May and it was one of the best expierences of my life.

13. I want to be an indie/folk/acoustic musician when I get out of high school/college.

14. I don’t have a cell phone.

15. I’m really sensitive to spicy things. I really wished I loved it but it makes my mouth hurt.

16.  I often get high off the sun. It makes me laugh A LOT. Just ask Eliza.

17. I want to backpack across Europe after high school or college.

18. Photography is enjoyable. When I actually get a job I hope to save up for a better camera.

19. I love kale.

20. Maine fiddle camp is my favorite place in the world. I miss it so much.

21. I sat under a waterfall this summer during fiddle camp with some of my favorite people in the world. Then Doug showed up and ruined our partay but it’s all good.

22. My best friend hit me in the face with my snowboard last weekend. I now have a small bruise.

23. I love drinking liquids out of Mason jars.

24. I live in Maine, but just barely. I bet if I stood on my front porch and threw a rock really hard it would probably land in New Hampshire.

25. I dance wildly and crazily at any chance I get.

It’s finally Friday and I just finished my last midterm! Woohoo!!!

As you can probably tell the title of this post, it is snowing, AGAIN. I don’t like it, this winter is so cold and it makes me want to shoot something. The snow is coming down and everywhere. It looks pretty from inside but I know that when I step outside it will be cold and wet and irritating. But soon it will melt and then spring will come in a couple months or so. For now, I’ll wait.

I redid my room yesterday and it looks the best it has ever looked! It makes me happy and I’ll have pictures up soon.

I don’t really have much else to say but I’ll get another post up by sometime this week.

This song is so epic. It’s “Death and all his Friends” from Viva la Vida by COLDPLAY. It starts out really mello and soft and then gets into this crazy orchestral thing that comes in and out throughout the whole song when there are and aren’t words. It just ended, now we go onto Animal Collective which would take a much longer blog to talk about.

I hate wanting new things. I am usually not a very materialistic person and I know that Christmas just passed but I need more room on my iPod! It’s an 8 GB iPod nano from last year,  second generation I think? Anyway, I have to keep deleting stuff to make room for all of the new music that I’m getting! Arg! I guess I will just have to make due and hope that I can make some magic by finding a job that pays me money so that I can get a new hardrive or something.

I will stop talking about iPods now, that is a dull subject. We have a snow day today! It didn’t look like we had a lot of snow, probably less than the days that we didn’t have snow days but they cancelled school and so I am lieing in bed writing on this.

I just watched Gossip Girl. It is probably the only show that I actually follow and watch every week. I don’t have cable over here at my moms house so I watch it online and they didn’t do new episodes over the holidays. I want Blair and Chuck to be together!! She loves him and he knows how much he loves her and they have told eachother all of this and are still not together. I mean, I know that he’s all screwed up right now and a bunch of stuff went down in this episode. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet. It’s good though, I am readily anticipating the next couple of weeks.

One more thing about Gossip Girl, it is way too close to me. I have cried at like two or three times over this show. It’s stupid because it’s just a show and none of it is actually real but STILL! It’s way to close to my heart!

The sun is starting to set right now and it’s making the sky a lovely pink and purple hue. I wish I could go outside and bottle this color so I could later use it to paint things with. Sorry Lina, we can’t all live in your imagination.

I’m on a good computer this week so I can actually put photos up now! Here is one from my best friends birthday a few weeks ago but it looks like it could be from new years so up it goes…

This is a hilariously gross picture but it makes me happy so it’s going on here. We look a bit like we escaped from an insane asylum but that just makes it all the more funnier.

I must go finish Moulin Rouge and I’ll probably cry again like I do everytime I watch it.

So, as you can probably tell, I went shopping today. Four of my best friends and I all went to the mall today for a long while and did some mall adventuring. I normally don’t buy a lot of clothes at the mall and I hadn’t been since the beginning of September but it was a lot of fun to be with Eliza, Savannah, Emily and Isa all together. We never hang out all four of us and it was great. Zane and Michael came too but they should only count as one person because they are literally one unit.

Anyway, back to my pants. I got two pairs of new skinny pants today, one black and one in the lovely color of TURQUOISE. Gah! I don’t think I’ll ever stop obsessing with them. Feel free to leave me a comment to shut me up (if you are one of the maybe three people who actually read this and/or care).

I need to start putting some more photos in here! I hate this computer that I’m on right now mainly because of its lack of speed to let me upload pictures. I’m going to my dads tomorrow though so hopefully my next post will involve some sort of photos.

I finished Breaking Dawn yesterday evening! It was soooo good but I think I liked Eclipse better, I’ll have to read them again to decide. I got all four for Christmas and I know that I will be reading them over and over and over again.

Well, I must go to bed so that I will wake up early enough to pack and then go to Savannahs for some wild early morning craziness.

So, I really want to try writing on this more but I’m not so sure on how that will happen, mainly because of my lack of motivation and lack of great and interesting things that happen in my life. I’ll see how this goes and try and write as often as I can.

My mom and I went to see Twilight again today, my third time and her second. Almost as amazing as the first two times, I got all the books for Christmas and I’m still reading the fourth one. It isn’t as good as the last three but it’s still alright…I won’t give anything away.

I really want to add some nice photos but I’m on a crappy laptop that I don’t have the patience for. Next post, there will be some nice photos of nice things. Wow, I said nice three times in the past two sentences, I should find some more original words.

Well, I’m off to watch some more Arrested Development, write some music posssibly and stay up doing non-productive things with my night.

The weather was absolutly disgusting all day long when I was shopping with two of my best friends in dtp (for everyone who doesn’t know what that means, it’s downtown portsmouth) I got most of my christmas presents earlier this month and on Monday so I got my step mom a beautiful scarf and my little brother a CD.

It didn’t feel so much like Christmas Eve while we were shopping, mainly  because I had decided to wear thin socks with Uggs as I walked around in TONS of slush and rain. Not a good idea. My feet froze and were soaking wet for a good majority of the day, what fun. 

I hope the weather is nicer tomorrow and not so gross and wet. I’m sure the day will still be fantastic though, I mean, it’s Christmas! Hurrah!
